Restylane® is the first and only dermal filler in the U.S. composed of NASHA™ gel, Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid.   It is a safe and simple procedure proven to give long-lasting correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.  Results last at least six months.  A topical anesthetic is used and there is no down time.  The most commonly reported adverse events were temporary redness and swelling at the injection site.  These effects typically resolve within two to three days
